About this calendar
Free for organizers and clubs. We link to your own registration page.
Bay Area Pickleball Calendar is a small, simple list of upcoming pickleball tournaments around the Bay Area, started by a local player in Danville. You can search, and filter by level, age group, distance from your zip code or city, and indoor courts.
What counts as the Bay Area
We use the nine county definition: Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Marin, Solano, Napa and Sonoma. Events in those counties are welcome. The distance filter on the home page can narrow the list to events within 15, 25 or 50 miles of your zip code or city.
How listings work
- Listing an event costs nothing.
- Every listing sends players to the organizer's own registration page. We never take registrations or payments.
- We only list basic facts: date, venue, level, fee and a link back to you. Each event shows whether we have checked it against the organizer's page.
- Organizers and clubs can submit an event at any time. We review each one before it goes live.
Balls and paddles
Every listing shows the official tournament ball and the paddle rules, but only when the organizer's own page says so. If we have not seen it on their page, the card says "Not confirmed yet" and we try to find out from the organizer.
What "approved paddles" means. When an event says paddles must be approved, it usually means the paddle brand and model appear on USA Pickleball's Approved Paddle List. Some organizers also accept paddles on the UPA-A lists, or ban paddles with a worn, peeling or altered surface. We copy each organizer's wording. Check the list for your exact paddle before you travel, and ask the organizer if you are unsure.
For clubs with courts
If your club runs tournaments, clinics or ladders, we would love to list them. Send your next event through the submit page.
Coming later
Featured spots for events, and a weekly email of upcoming tournaments, may come later if clubs find this useful. Listings will stay free.
This is an early version. If something is wrong or out of date, tell the organizer and use the submit page to send us a correction.
